A Study on Energy Efficient Coverage Aware Clustering Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks
Keywords:
Wireless sensor networks, coverage aware, energy efficientAbstract
In this study, energy efficient coverage aware clustering protocols for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been investigated by describing various clustering and coverage related issues. The coverage is more closely related to Quality of Service (QoS) coverage problem in WSNs. The term energy efficient coverage aware can be defined as the network lifetime including features like coverage lifetime and energy consumed by sensor nodes. Also, this study analyses the energy efficient coverage aware protocols on the basis of their performance parameters.
