Saba Mokashi, Kumar Amlendu, Shruti Chougule, Milind Paraye

Abstract

Thermocouple is widely used sensor for temperature measurement now a days because of its unique characteristics in terms of wide temperature range, stability, durability, and the different types that are compatible according to temperature applications. But there are many challenges like signal conditioning and absolute control that needs to be resolved while designing with them. The paper describes the solution for signal conditioning using a single analog IC AD8495 that provides both signal conditioning along with reference junction compensation. The paper describes the system that can measure and control the Real-time temperature in the range of 0°C to 1000°C and displays the same on an LCD screen that can be used to preset in minimum and maximum temperature range.
