Abstract

Abstract

The technology used in metro train movement is the one which is used in most developed countries. The train contains a controller that gives the permission to the continuous running of the train from initial station to the upcoming destination. In this module, a self-directed train will eliminate the need of any driver; therefore, any manmade error will not take place. In this project, arduino controller has been used as CPU. Whenever the train reaches the station it halts automatically, as identified by an IR sensor. Then the gate opens, so that the travelers can come inside the train. It is completed with the traveler counting unit, which sums the number of commuters coming and going. The gas and fire sensor detected danger and alert the passenger. The traveler tallies and the station are shows interfaced to the arduino.
