Abstract

This paper provides an machine learning approach for the detection of brain tumors. The modified GMM approach is used for the detection of tumors. The ARFF dataset of tumor image is created. The training dataset is created and the efficiency of the approach is tested against the test dataset. The detection rate is 98.5.
