Authentication Scheme using Matrix
Abstract
Abstract
These days, textual passwords are mostly used for authentication. But, these are not much secure because of the problems like brute force attacks, eves dropping, shoulder surfing and guessing. So, there are another authentication schemes to remove these problems, based on session passwords for authentication, and are called color and image authentication schemes. Matrix authentication scheme is based on the session password but with the help of matrix pattern. User makes a unique pattern using cells of the matrix and can use it to enter the password in different ways.
