Abstract
Abstract
A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a self-organization collection of wireless mobile devices that frame a temporary and dynamic wireless network with no infrastructure. It supports the nodes for direct communications with all the other nodes within their radio ranges through multiple wireless links, where the nodes are not in the direct communication range, using intermediate nodes to communicate with each other. Architecture and security issue is the most sensitive challenge of MANET. This paper discusses the essential ideas of MANET, its design, outline of various steering conventions and security issues of MANET. Essential ideas, its design and issues to be considered while conveying MANET.
