An Improved AES Algorithm for Enhancing Security in Cloud Environment
Abstract
Abstract
With the advancement in technology, the data has multiplied tremendously and so has the need for ensuring the security of the data. With increase in data, the need for more efficient software and even increased and powerful hardware has also prospered. Cloud computing has enabled access to important and critical information as and when required. It works on pay as one use concept. Cloud environment has its wings spread to both public and private networks. The security issue of the data on cloud environment has deepened in recent years. The research paper focuses on discussing the working of cryptography AES algorithm. AES has been effectively ruling the security aspect of cloud computing ever since it came into existence. The paper elaborates the development of flexible AES algorithm which encrypts and decrypts the data effectively and efficiently on different scales, i.e., the encryption/decryption takes place irrespective of the number of bits involved in plain text (input text). The research work emphasizes on the application of cryptography for secure transfer of critical data under cloud computing.
