Abstract

The purpose of hand gesture is to provide attractive alternative to slow and complex inefficient device for human machine interaction. The interpretation of hand signs can help in easy naturalness in human machine interaction. Hand Gesture recognition will also provide with easy user-friendly interaction with the computer [1]. Hand gesture recognition is used for various purposes e.g. for driving a vehicle we can use hand gesture, new game technology and other hand sign languages. There are two level of achieving hand recognition. A higher level of hand gesture recognition is by using syntactic analysis for context free grammar. The lower level can be achieved by posture detection and machine learning algorithms [1]. In this paper we have aimed for analyzing and recognizing hand signs [3]. Hand signs and segmentation is the first step for any hand recognition system
