Abstract

Life is precious and there is nothing more unfortunate than to lose it to someone’s carelessness. Road accidents are the global tragedy of the ever-rising trend and even innocent school students fall prey to it. According to WHO report, India has the highest number of road accident deaths in the world. It is sad that over 1.3 lakh people in our country lost their lives in road accidents in 2016 alone that is more than the number of people killed in all our wars put together. We need to find the problem before we can find the solution. The problem is over speeding. The problem arises from reckless driving, drunk driving, drowsiness, etc. Over speeding can be controlled in certain areas with the certain method by using “Internet of Things” technology. This project is basically targeting three different areas where over speeding needs to be controlled (near hospitals, school area, and bus stops).
