In photovoltaic power generation, DC to DC converter play a vital role in improvement efficiency of the whole system. In the PV system, power generation depends upon the solar irradiation and heat from the sun. In PV module only peak value of PV characteristics is considered. To perform the better operation, the extreme point of power tracking method is required. The function of the dc-dc converter in a PV system is to make the equal impedance of the PV array to load. So the selection of various classification of dc to dc system converter becomes selective. This paper comparative analysis is being done in relations of competence, function time and involvedness. Perturb and observation method MPPT technique procedure is used for the explanation of the dc-dc converter function.
