Geofencing of COVID-19 Center Using the Internet of Things

Bhagyesh Patekar, Rajani Dabhekar, Pramod Holkar

Abstract

The World Health Organization has declared the outburst of the coronavirus as pandemic in the world. So, this study presents Tracing patients from COVID-19 center using geofencing. The Admin and User modules are the two important ones. Admin may sign in with their credentials. Admin can add, update, delete, view COVID-19 center and can mark fence. Admin can add, update, delete and  view COVID-19 status, Fence Logs and room number etc. Admin can view Fence out Logs and monitor their locations. User can login using credentials. User will get information like, the user will get Logout Option (can logout if they know the password). The device will continuously update the location. The system can effectively establish whether the user is inside the geofenced area by comparing the most recently observed signals from the phone with the home signature. The computing efficiency, responsiveness, privacy protection, cost-effectiveness, and adaptability of Signature Home to the variety of homes and shifting circumstances. Our test findings demonstrate its high accuracy and support its design in terms of precision, recall, F-measure, and false alarm rate.
