Determination of Quick Switching Double Sampling System by Attributes under Fuzzy Poisson Distribution: Acceptance Number Tightening
Abstract
Abstract
Acceptance sampling plans are used to accept or reject the lots based on the inspection of samples. A mixture of acceptance sampling plans with switching rules for changing from one plan to another are called acceptance sampling schemes. The simple and most generally used sampling scheme is quick switching system (QSS-1). Quick switching system with reference to single sampling plan is a system which requires fewer samples for processes running at low levels of defects. Quick switching systems are compared with single, double, multiple, chain and variable sampling plans as well as MIL STD 105 E and concluded its advantages. This paper deals with the determination of quick switching double sampling system under fuzzy Poisson distribution. Tables are constructed, and its operating characteristic curve is drawn.
