Abstract

Abstract

A Design and analysis of dual band equal split N-way Wilkinson power divider is proposed in this specific work. For this the design of 2-way 4-way, 5-way and 6-way power divider is made with the help of an N-way power divider.  An isolation resistor is used to achieve good isolation at output port of Wilkinson power divider. Parameters of the proposed configuration are calculated at the centre frequency of 1 GHz. For verification the proposed design is simulated with the dielectric constant of 4.4 and loss tangent of 0.02. The result is having dual band response at 1.1 GHz and 3.3 GHz. Return loss at all the ports below –10 dB, transmission coefficient above –10log (N) dB and isolation among output ports are better than –10 dB is achieved. Results of all Wilkinson power divider are calculated by computer simulation technology microwave studio and found satisfactory.
