Simple Analysis of Average Monthly Global Solar Radiation in Rajasthan
Abstract
Abstract
Solar energy is the best form of renewable energy. This article describes an hourly solar radiation estimation method using global, diffuse and ground solar radiation. This paper presents about solar radiation on daily basis at Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur, Rajasthan (India) was investigated on an average 7 hours daily sunshine duration basis on the date of 16th of each month of a year. This paper suggests a possible solution for absorbing and exploiting the entire spectrum of solar radiation including ultraviolet radiation along with visible radiation. To measure solar radiation at different locations possible methods are given.
Keywords: Global solar radiation, horizontal surface, sunshine hours
